30 Minutes North of New York City, lies the quick but enjoyable hiking in and out trail known as Anthony’s Nose. It offers similarly spectacular views to that of Breakneck Ridge and Mount Taurus; In fact it offers a more sweeping view of the Hudson Valley and directly overlooks the scenic Bear Mountain bridge. It offers a moderate and enjoyable hike to its peak. A great hike for children, newer hikers or anyone looking for a spectacular view.

Named after Mad Anthony Wayne – there is a area nearby named after him. He was Revolutionary War, just so you know.

Nice video guide – we hike this with our school.
How do i get there from cold springs metro train station. Plus is there a nearby place to do overnight camp? I have no car so if a taxi is in order let me know.
Metro North doesn’t stop near here as far as I know. You’ll probably have to take a cab. Consider breakneck ridge where metro north stops right there. Unsure about camping. Enjoy!
